We’ll find out more information about Jungle Inferno in the days ahead, so stay tuned for more!

Team Fortress 2, Valve’s free-to-play multiplayer shooter, will be receiving a huge balance update in the near future, the company announced this week.

There will also be a number of new taunts, which are all previewed over on the official Team Fortress 2 site.

Valve has even created a new animated short for Jungle Inferno, which you can see posted below.

Way back in the day, when we first shipped Team Fortress 2 as part of The Orange Box, we'd always planned on it being an ongoing project.

But even we had no idea that, four years later, we'd be over two hundred updates strong, with a growing community of collaborators and no signs of stopping.

The mismatch between animated model and actual hittable zones means a decent amount of shots taken over the game's ten-year lifespan were likely near-misses when they should've been hits, assuaging the ego of anyone who swore they'd gotten that sweet headshot that one time.

Fixing it was as simple as changing one line of code, sigsegv__ claims in the Reddit comment, but knowing which line and where was the real trick.

Valve has revealed a new update for the insanely popular multiplayer shooter called Jungle Inferno.

As you might imagine from the name, this new update is going to whisk you away to the jungle with a new map to play on.

That map is called Mercenary Park, and Valve says that it’s a “a new jungle-themed disease-ridden three-control point map, made in-house by us!
